New minister of Municipal affairs and Housing has given the governance review task to the Heritage, Infrastructure and Cultural Policy standing committee and they have accepted by a resolution dated Sept 2023

Regional Council begins the process to make changes for 2026 municipal election.

Regional Chair Election on all municipal ballots.
