Ontario wants to appoint Waterloo region's chair. Here's what some councillors think of the idea

The Ontario government is looking to appoint regional chairs in the province, including in Waterloo region. Coun. Doug Craig had put a motion forward in February asking the province to keep the position as an elected role and says he isn't surprised by the province's decision. (CBC )
